Circular hike Märzengrund
From the Stummerberg, along the rushing Märzenbach stream, you hike leisurely into the mysterious Gmünder valley basin in the Märzengrund. On the forest road you get back to the Stummerberg. You can also vary the circular hike on the way back with an ascent over the area of the Triplonalm to the Schartenjoch. There are no refreshment stops on the hiking trail.
Hiking to the Märzengrund
The highlight once a week is an exclusive hike only for chalet guests! From the Gatterberg we walk comfortably across meadows and pastures to our destination the Gmünder Alm, there you can expect a hearty snack with products of our agriculture and the region. After a leisurely afternoon we hike along the rushing Märzenbach back to the Stummerberg.
Kapaunsalm
At the Stummerberg in the direction of Märzengrund, turn right onto the hiking trail where you will cross lush meadows and forests to reach the Kapausalm at 1,911 m. Already hungry from the fresh forest air? A hearty snack awaits you at the traditional hut.
How about another climb to the summit? From the hut it is only a short walk to the Kapaunser Jöchl or you can climb even higher to the Rifflerkogel at 2,496 m.
Climbing Garden
The Adventure Adventure Park in Kaltenbach, Zillertal is a highlight for the whole family. Climbing for children and adults demands courage and skill and offers extraordinary views.
Mountainbike
A fabulous 1,200 km of bike routes in the Zillertal invite you to discover the colorful natural paradise by bike. Past dreamy alpine pastures and mountain streams, explore the beautiful mountain landscapes in the bike saddle. Have you already tried an e-bike? No mountain will be too steep and no peak too far. In our Chalet E are 2 e-bikes at your disposal.
Swimming
Tired from hiking? In the outdoor pools in the Zillertal you will experience tingling variety and soothing regeneration. In the Badewelt Stumm, only 1 km from the chalet, a sports pool, a natural bathing pond, a children's pool and attractions such as the 62 m water slide, the Trio Slide wide slide, current channel, diving area, beach volleyball court, and much more await you.
Just as easy to reach from the chalet are the Zillertal reservoirs Schlegeis, Stillup, Zillergrund and Gerlos, beautiful natural jewels and masterpieces of technology.
Spieljochbahn Fügen
The area around the Spieljochbahn is very interesting for families. The first hiking area of the Zillertal is the starting point of numerous hiking trails with fantastic views of the Karwendel mountains, the Achensee, the Wilder Kaiser and Kufstein, the Kitzbühler, Zillertaler and Tuxer Alps.
Action
Are you looking for extraordinary adventures? There is no such thing as boredom in the First Holiday Region in the Zillertal. On the numerous sport climbing routes, high ropes courses and via ferratas you will master obstacles and steep rock faces. In rugged canyons and turquoise-blue gullies you will experience a fabulous natural landscape while canyoning. While rafting on the rushing Ziller you become one with the energy of the water and while paragliding you discover the beauty of the Ziller Valley from a bird's eye view.
